The Technical Office and Development Group (TOD) acts as the reference entity for civil engineering design, structural engineering, geomatics and patrimony, and manages technical external relationships with Host States.
It coordinates Infrastructure Requests, including cost estimation for civil engineering and tertiary infrastructure.
The group leads site development activities through the Master Plan, ensuring that sustainability requirements are duly integrated, and is responsible for assessing and designing all civil-engineering studies for future accelerator projects.
It also oversees Tunnel Asset Monitoring for existing tunnels.
Its role is to ensure coherence, technical accuracy and long-term strategic alignment across all projects and site-wide developments.
